My name is Renae Young Almendinger, I was born and raised in Oregon.  I moved with my husband and young son to Anchorage, Alaska, and was there about 23 years.  During my time in Alaska I did a number of various jobs, but one that has some of my fondest memories, was the Assistant Manager for a small retail ladies clothing store.  I worked in the retail business in other capacities and always enjoyed working with the public.  

We were blessed with a daughter while living in Anchorage.  I began working in the medical field soon after and found a new and exciting interest and opportunity. Eventually my husband Gary and I grew tired of the long, dark winters in Anchorage.  It was about that same time that my father and his wife, who were living in Florence, Oregon, began to express a desire for family to be a little closer, as aging was making even the day to day things more difficult.  That was all we needed... we were out of there!

We have been in Florence for the last 8 years. I work as a medical office assistant and Gary is self employed.  I was able to spend the last 3 years of my father's life close to him and caught up on a lot time that was lost while I was away. My son and his wife and their family live here, so we are very fortunate to be near the grandchildren. My daughter and her husband are living in Ireland and are anxious to see Scentsy go International!

I was introduced to Scentsy in March of 2009 by one of my co-workers, and it was love at first sight!!  Yes, it is possible!!!  It happened to me and in April I was a new consultant, experiencing the excitement, and fear, of starting a new business of my very own!  My start was slow but steady, my husband, co-workers, family and friends, helped me along and encouraged me every step of the way.  The excitement continues with Scentsy, the friendships and confidence it brought my way are priceless.  The opportunities are endless!! I love what I do! Every time I go to work, It's A Party!!!!
